Contractual & Commercial Advice  RJC Consultants has extensive 'in-house' expertise in contractual and commercial matters. Many of our consultants have held senior commercial positions with major contractors. Our expertise covers all standard forms of contracts used in building, civil engineering and process/oil and gas projects. We have also advised on bespoke contracts or amendments to standard forms. We are able from the base of our sound contractual knowledge to advise on the best commercial approach to achieve clients' objectives.

Claims Preparation & Resolution RJC is regularly instructed by major contractors to prepare and settle claims on complex issues. We can bring our wealth of experience to bear on such matters in an attempt to achieve the best result. All of our consultants have the required negotiation skills to maximise the practical outcome to suit our clients needs (depending on their requirements.)

Adjudication RJC Consultants is regularly instructed to represent a Party in Adjudication. We can advise on procedure, tactics and likely outcomes. We are able to prepare a Referral (either independently or in conjunction with in-house/preferred legal advisors) and undertake the process through to completion on a client's behalf. Equally, we can act as a representative in defending clients against an adjudication commenced by the Referring Party. Either way our extensive experience allows us to ensure that the best possible result is obtained.

Litigation & Arbitration RJC has extensive experience on the management and process of Arbitration and Litigation. Negotiation and Settlement Almost everyone in the industry has some knowledge of negotiation and settlement of disputes. Often the process can be assisted by seeking our assistance either to identify risk, provide commercial, contractual or tactical advice or by initially bring a fresh pair of eyes to the problem and then to head up the settlement process. RJC Consultants has great experience in this field either as part of 'ad hoc' appointments or through the more formal route of inside Dispute Panels / Dispute Boards set up for specific projects.
